Jag Movie Petition

Let's tell CBS we WANT this!

News Post New Entry

How can you help?

Posted by Jag Movie on July 12, 2010 at 9:25 AM

For the past 2 months we have been running a campaign on Facebook and Twitter to get fans to sign an online petition.  While this as been working we need to do more and get more creative to get the attention of TPTB (the powers that be).

In order to do this we need your help so what can you do to help?

  1. Write real letters to Belisarius Productions and CBS Paramount Television.  They do not have to be long or complicated just keep to the facts how you feel.
  2. Sign the petition at http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/jagmovie
  3. Promote the website around the internet.  Banners will be available shortly to help in that effort.
  4. Volunteer your time.  JAG Movie is always looking for people who want to help the cause which may include expanding the site, updating blogs, sending letters, publicity, promotion etc.  Send your details via the contact us page and we will get back to you.
Thanks for everything you may have already done or might do in the future; we certainly appreciate it and together we can MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

In doing some research over this past week, it seems that much has been said, and is being considered by many. For example, Catherine Bell has expressed interest to Donald Bellisarius about the making of a Jag Movie. Chas Floyd Johnson has as much said the same according to tabloid information in similar months. Perhaps DJE could verify with CBS on the sales of DVD's of JAG seasons 1 through 10 for the USA, and then consider that Australia which is region 4 and Europe being Region 2 has not as yet the previlege of Seasons 9 and 10 . (Season 8 released within the past few days here in Australia).

Everywhere I look about Perth for example, you see JAG on the shelf, Ebay sales, practically everywhere and they sell like wildfire. These sales considerations could very well tip the scales in favour of a Jag Movie, once of course an acceptable script and re-introduction of Jag into the mainstream is acknowledged with all parties approving.

Lets face it, A JAG movie wouldn't be worth the effort without DJE and the entire cast re-instated. If CBS and the interested parties are shown the sales statistics and they reflect a positive standing, the chances of getting more persuaded about making a movie could come more easily to all concerned.

Just a thought.

My best to DJE and family

Cheers;

I know not everyone is in the US, but the cable network USA used to air JAG reruns all the time. It's actually how I first saw the show and became a fan so many years ago.

Now they air NCIS all the time. I'm checking out there website to see if they might be an asset for us

I'd be happy to help make some banners. Is there a certain size (in pixels) that your looking for? Would you like them to say anything?
